I think that if he would get a strong tan he would have been more violent and ready to shoot down some policemen. Also the policemen would have their guns drawn if he got in a 30ft (10m) radius of them.

There's some things about this that don't add up. He has a gun but doesn't know how to use the most basic safety instructions? How does he point a gun at her chest, a loaded gun at that, and pull the trigger....by accident?
