This event occurred at a Chevron station in Tupelo, Mississippi at the corner of Cliff Gookin Boulevard and South Thomas Street on Sept 11, 2022.

The murderer/robber is Chris Copeland, 26, and he was charged with capital murder, meaning he was eligible for the death penalty.

Copeland had previous felony arrests and despite this, was placed on house arrest with an ankle bracelet that somehow failed to work.

There was much community outrage after this cold-blooded murder and apparently Copeland was sentenced to life in prison.

The victim was 33-year-old Parmvir Singh, who was rushed to a hospital in grave condition but sadly, he died about six hours after he was shot in the head.
