In school, we were forced to watch this awful, awful movie "The march" (1990).

In it, all of Africa goes to Europe on foot because reasons and it's a happy end because Africans can shop for shoes (that literally happens in the movie, no joke).

All Africans follow a prophet/leader who at one point has a conversation with some white devil and says "you let your dog sleep in your house, you feed your dog and you bring it to the doctor when it is ill. I want to be that dog." And then he grins, satisfied with himself and his poor people ideology.

Back then, nobody in class would have agrued that not only dogs don't have aids, they are also being casstrated, deliced, dewormed, sleep outside when they misbehave and when they poop somewhere they are not supposed to, they will have their noses be pressed into it so they learn not to do it again. They are also being put down once the owner gets tired of them.

Tell THAT to someone who wants to be a dog.
