Why are there so many mass shootings this year?

LOLOLOL murica, the land of the stupid and the home of the ignorant. I could stop it tomorrow, nobody has a gun unless they are properly trained, a member of a club or similar for a year, and voted to have one by their peers, and are cleared by the police and mental health checks done. AND the gun owner pays for this process.
