Reno, NV air race, 2016-pilot shut his engine down after it sputtered and opened the canopy, the signal used to warn approaching pilots but, it was too late.
2016.... ffs...
That was a surprising clip.
Unfortunately he didn’t get it….the irony of the situation went right over his head
