Speaking to millions without oversight or regulation

When leftist get rich enough, the first thing they do is purchase a media platform. Then they use it to push out their messages and to make sure that opposing messages never see the light of day.

There's an argument that once you've created a public platform used by the people, a "town square," you have some of the duties of the government not to restrict free speech.

I think that argument takes on new validity these days where we have a small number of social media platforms that can pretty much control society's perception of reality.

Consider FB's and Twitter's suppression of the the Hunter Biden laptop story.

Hmmm well it worked just fine when Twitter was run by far left libtards.

I never heard them complain when Jack Dorsey was at the Twitter helm and they had full control of the narrative.
