Conflicting reports on the story. The cyclist who crashed was about to take first place in the field of 270 bicyclists.

Medics treated both individuals at the scene. It said the bicyclist was brought to a hospital and has head injuries and memory loss. One source said the woman was airlifted to a hospital in Tenerife (not confirmed) and was in a "serious condition."

Other preliminary reports said the cyclist was brought to a hospital with non-serious head injuries and the woman's condition was unknown.

Whatever the case, hopefully doctors are trying valiantly to extract the woman's head from her ass.
