Tampa, FL December , 2024-Jason Douglas Paul, 47, called sheriff claiming neighbor punched him. Deputies said he was acting nuts and threatened to kill his neighbor; “He’s lucky I didn’t kill him,” “He’s lucky I didn’t snap his neck and kill him,” and “I’m going to get a gun, conceal it, and kill him.” Then he told deputies “I’m going to kill you”. A rookie deputy shot him. Paul died at the hospital.
