Aldi, Humboldt Park, Chicago, IL January 13, 2025-The coyote was captured to return to the wild.
Last week I found a really strange/foreign looking insect while cleaning under the shelves.
At first I thought it was a hornet, but ... nah. Some sort of fly, black and yellow stripes, and a long tube sticking out of its rear.
A customer suggested it might be something from China or some place we get our products from, it hatched and lived for a while.
Perhaps it's the most normal and mundan e insect whereever it comes from, but finding a freak like that is more than a bit concerning.
Bring in a roadrunner and that coyote will take himself out in a matter of minutes. Just make sure he has access to the ACME catalog.
I thought it was fastblack hiding among the bananas
