Brain is overrated

The maggots and the man have become one hive mind .

Saw this years ago on Liveleak. This is maggot therapy---since maggots only eat dead tissue, they are often used as a measure to clean wounds, especially in poorer parts of the world. I have no idea what led to this guy having the hole in his skull cavity (or how he's alive and seemingly finctioning) but the maggots are almost certainly intentional.
