One of the targets of the shooting, a 26-year-old man who was armed, was shot and died shortly after. No one has been arrested so far. The scene was recorded by security cameras. Around 3:30 p.m., the driver of the car, a blue BMW Cabriolet, gets into the vehicle, and soon after two men approach the car, one in a blue T-shirt and another in a light long-sleeved shirt. From the images, it is possible to notice that the man in a long-sleeved shirt tries to draw a firearm, but before he completes the action, the driver of the car begins to shoot and the two men run away. (See the video above) The man in a clear shirt left the place staggering and bleeding, with the gun in his hand. He ran a few meters and fell on a nearby street, where his body was found by the Military Police. In a note, the Secretariat of Public Security of Ceará (SSPDS) reported that the dead man has a history of criminal organization, crime against public peace and reception. At the scene of death, a firearm and a cell phone were seized. The ministry reported that the case is being investigated by the 10th Police Station of the Department of Homicide and Person Protection.
