"A new murder in broad daylight. This time, the victim is a lawyer who was attacked when he was leaving his office in Tarapoto. The crime was recorded on security cameras.
In the videos broadcast on social networks, Luis Felipe Morey Riva can be seen walking calmly along Circunvalación Avenue. Everything was going normally; however, when he was about to get into his vehicle, he was intercepted by a thug.
The criminal tried to snatch his backpack, but the lawyer resisted. In the middle of the struggle, the criminal took out his firearm and shot him at point-blank range, causing him to fall to the ground.
Immediately, his accomplice on a linear motorcycle [1] appeared on the scene and both fled in an unknown direction along with other people's belongings. The lawyer moved his legs and showed signs of life, so neighbours and witnesses rushed to transfer him in a motorcycle taxi to the health centre; however, hours later they confirmed his death."
