Police officer fatally stabbed and killed until he died of his fatal injury from being stabbed in the throat

This clearly demonstrates that, inside 20 feet, a knife beats a holsters gun. It would take a slick draw even at 30 feet.

Las Cruces, NM, USA February 11, 2024- Officer Jonah Hernandez,35, was stabbed to death on a trespassing call at ABCO American Barn Co., 355 S. Valley Dr. Issiah Astorga, 29, a bystander, shot the suspect, Armando Silva, 29, who had a lengthy criminal record and mental illness. The stabber died. His father said he was better off in prison. He had just gotten out of prison, worked for his brother for a week, everything was fine...then he got a paycheck and "everything went to hell." The bystander was not charged.
