According to the Civil Police, Sebastião Fabiano da Silva, 59 years old , was attacked by three people . Two of them were armed with sickles and a piece of wood ( see the video above ). A teenager was apprehended and a suspect was arrested . According to the Homicide detective of the 6th Region, Flávio Dura, the crime was motivated by a family dispute involving the custody of the victim's granddaughter . The detective also reported that the families had already exchanged threats. The moment of the crime was recorded by security cameras and shows Sebastião riding his bike along the street where he was murdered. At that moment, one of the attackers arrives with a scythe and surprises the victim. Sebastião tried to escape but was caught and killed. Another person arrives and hits the victim with a club, who is already dead. A teenager was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the crime. He was taken to a police station where an arrest warrant was issued against him. Hours after the teenager was arrested, his brother was arrested hiding in a thicket in the city.
