Wingsuit "proximity" flying is regarded as the deadliest sport. I can't exactly recall what the lifespan of a practitioner is, but it takes lots of year of normal base jumping to even considering getting into it, and in 5 or 6 years you are dead. That sounds like a lot, but you don't have hundreds of jumps a year, so overall, it's the equivalent of like 50-100 "races" or so.
