Hey Earl you might wanna switch the octane rating on that gas you've been pumping lately. Nah Jim I reckon I'll be alright, last time my truck caught on fire I definitely learned my lesson.....Hey Earl you might wanna switch the octane rating on that gas you've been pumping lately. Rubber is an insulater, but you can still build up a static charge in it. I suggest you take a physics class. Try rubbing a glass rod over silk (both VERY good insulators). That will build up a great static charge.
you dont get static from gas going through a rubber hose you dumb bastard. rubber is an insulater it cant make electric. when was the last time youve seen a rubber generator. that dumb ass got the static charger from the plastic gas can moving on the plastic bed liner
