I'm retired US Army combat mortician. Way funner in the combat sector than it is in the civilian sector
One thing everyone can agree on , is that you respect the dead. Even IF you're desensitised to it and they become nothing more than meat, you still do the job in a dignified manor.
You're literally one of the last living beings to ever touch them.
