San Diego, CA, USA October 24, 2024-Marcus Evans, 32, got an $875,000 settlement from the City of San Diego for a broken tibia, bruised ribs, tendon damage, injuries to his arm. He was arrested but not charged. Police ignored a report request by the First Amendment Coalition who sued on Evan's behalf, other than providing a redacted call log. Evans was one of four people who exited his home after police got a call about a a man threatening a woman.
