I'd take a few thousand mile detour just to land on the Hudson line Sully.

Couldn't tell if the retracting gear was making that noise or if it some wailing indopak.

Have seen a few instances where they retract the gear after tire failure or overheat and it starts a fire up in the gear compartment. (Nation Air - Saudi Arabia) Like 250 people died. Bodies were falling out of the plane on fire. Apparently correct procedure is to leave the gear down and return to airport.
