If there were 3 incidents here;,

1. Shots fired by window

2. Cop comes up on perp on side walk

3. Female cop takes down perp

Why in #2 did cop expose himself that way for perp to wheel a gun around on him (esp after knowing #1 incident)?

What is cop policy to;

A. be more careful?

B. keep a little more distance, hopefully finding better cover, and give commands farther away

C. already have gun drawn, but not pointing?

D. come up behind tree for more better cover?

Rochester, NY, USA December 19, 2025-Eric Davis, 38, was killed by cops trying to break into his ex-girlfriend's house. He had a protection order against him because he threatened to kill her. Three cops were shot but survived. The new boyfriend had a registered gun and shot in the direction of police without explanation and was not charged.
