Authorities say the chase began in Norwood when officers attempted to stop a driver wanted on outstanding warrants. Investigators report the pursuit lasted about 90 minutes and crossed several counties, briefly entering Indiana before returning to Ohio. During the chase, the suspect’s SUV — which was pulling a flatbed trailer — struck police vehicles, and one cruiser ended up riding on the back of the trailer. The pursuit ended after officers performed a PIT maneuver, causing the SUV to crash into a tree. Officials say both the suspect and an officer were taken to the hospital with reported minor injuries.
