The US has many "allies" in the middle east... it doesn't need Israel - Israel needs America.
Having Israel as an ally provides us with a stable, democratic partner in a majorly fucking volatile region. They give critical fucking intel sharing from a nation that’s not a NATO partner (NATO is garbage, and leaks just about anything), advanced technology with weaponry (who else can test our new R&D on actual real world targets?), not to mention combat-tested counterterrorism expertise and one of the best trained militaries in the world.
