No U.K city is safe anymore .
People have been getting stabbed, mugged, shot in London since London began. It's part of the culture. And let's not forget the old school gangs and villains. And there's Jack the Ripper.
If you live in a city of Millions, you're gonna meet some bad cunts. Everyone knows, if you ain't Millwall or Bermondsey, don't go there. If you ain't Bethnal Green, Hackney or Bo, don't go there. And if you ain't Muslim , stay the fuck away from Tower Hamlets and Finsbury park.
No different than an American city. Don't go to the black part, the Cuban part, the Jewish part, etc etc . Every city has a tribal segregation. The only parts that aren't tribal are the political and financial Districts.
