Was probably fired for that. All these huge chain shops get twitchy when an assault happens on their property. It ties into the law that you're only a shop lifter the minute you leave the store.

Putting things in you pocket inside the store, isn't a crime. The crime is non payment.

It's all BS I know but preemptively stopping someone before they pay or not cool either.

The stores don't really give a fuck. Their profits are fucking astronomical anyway.

Same as Targets and Walmart's and Costco's, they couldn't give a fuck how much you steal.

As for police, they don't even bother with it anymore.
