Information: A private, unorganized street race was held at the intersection of McCarran Blvd and Rock Blvd in Reno, Nevada. About 20 or so onlookers stood on the sidewalk, phones in hand, while two racers began to speed down the boulevard. The two cars racing were a Porsche 911 GTS and an Audi RS5. At the same time, a red Toyota Tacoma pickup, accompanied by 6 occupants, was turning at the intersection. The two racers sped past the red light and struck the pickup truck. Debris flew everywhere, and every car was damaged. The 84-year-old driver of the pickup is in critical condition. The other 5 occupants were taken to the hospital with various injuries. The driver and the passenger of the Audi RS5 were taken to the hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries, and the driver of the Porsche 911 GTS was arrested and taken to the hospital as well with nonlifethreatening injuries.
