It was kind of a last minute decision for me to compete, so I had to lose 13 pounds in 5 days. Sometimes you get to weigh the morning of and have time to recover, but for this organization you have to weigh immediately before you fight. So basically I only ate fruits and vegetables for 4 days and then treated myself to a sandwich the day before. Surprisingly I felt pretty good when I made weight, but unfortunately I lost a tough fight to the guy who won my division. It was the first time I competed in about 2 years so the whole experience got me pretty hyped and wanting to get back into the competition game. I threw together a little highlight from a few of my last tournaments to get me back in a competitive mindset, and figured I'd share it since some of you guys were asking questions. I've been trying to get Jay to compete, but ever since his knee surgery he hasn't been able to train consistently enough. Now with Baby Jay, I don't see it happening anytime soon.
