If you are ever shooting a missile at a target and you MEANT to hit only the container, what would happen if it missed it's aim and actually hit the ship? Your logic of 'wasn't meant to hit the ship' is off...That was a derelict ship and it was meant to be a target...We do the same thing...But ours usually rip the shit out of our targets...When it comes to aircraft carriers, we usually just scuttle the ship and turn it into a reef...This was actually fired from Pt. Magu, California...We were testing the missile for the Royal Norwegians...Back to the drawing board, boys!
