Bit late with the ladder, boys
My gramps was a lieutenant for denver fire department station #3 for 23yrs and retired as assistant chief after working another 10yrs at the crash and burn unit at buckley airforce base I remember him telling me if I become a firefighter to make sure it's not in the city to do it in the military or in the forest putting out trees. The city has to many tragedies that deal with children and would haunt you forever. God bless all the firefighters out there that face these everyday.
