If hmstr's explanation is true (I believe so) then the husband most likely already suspected her infidelity and his brother's betrayal. If not, then he harbored rage (Maybe for his wife and brother) that finally couldn't be contained. Judging from his demeanor he seems indifferent or shocked towards his actions. I will go with the former because to murder his wife, and his brother on the spot, like I said, the husband, in my opinion, would of have to have suspected the decease's actions to be foul, and most likely planned on killing them if he caught them.
