Chances are they lived thru that jump. They may have a few broken bones, but at least they'll live to talk about it another day
Jesse, since you don't speak spanish I'll tell you that the five people who jumped are dead, but I agree it's better than burning.
There was a fire in a hotel in Acapulco in the 80's that wasn't that bad, but a shitload of people died because they didn't have sprinklers or fire escapes.
I live on the first floor. That way, if there's a tornado, the whole building falls on me.
