Russia is full of lunatics

not sure which country is moar fucked lately... seems a whole buncha folks are losing their shit nowadays.

Russians almost universally use video when driving because (a) there are a lot of vehicles on the road unfit for it, (b) there are a lot of people lacking a long history of driving cautiously - caution isn't exactly a common russian temperamental trait, (c) hit and run accidents, (d) dishonest testimony about accidents (e) accident insurance scams, (f) injury insurance scams. Most of these people throwing themselves at cars are looking for insurance payouts. Russia is still a low trust country at least institutionally if not interpersonally. (I love them anyway and prefer living there.) Now, Indians and Asians, are masters of suicide-by powerline, train, truck, or bus, just like Muslims are masters of accidentally shooting themselves and each other because the concept of weapon discipline is as alien as limiting one's attempt at reproduction to fellow humans. Seriously. Europeans should have just kept our technology because most of the world is running around with our scissors.
