He wasn't an F1 (Formula One) driver at all, he was Indycar, F1 is based in Europe whereas Indycar is based in America and never the twain shall meet.
I just got done watching a tribute compilatioin video to F1 drivers on filecabi. The video gives the impression that these drivers are crazy mind wacked idiots. But after viewing the video I decided to do some research on what happened by typing in the drivers mane on search engine. Each single driver came up on the internet with a full biography, I'm talking as far back as the 60's. After reading all the accidents, they weren't caused by driver craziness, but by small glitches, flash fires, minor but fatal misjudgements, unoticed and noticed internal fatal injuries. After you watch it, it will change the way you drive.
