mechanicman, once again you are right. any paramedic or ER doctor will tell you that half of all traffic deaths are head injuries that a helmet could have prevented. That is why I oppose helmet laws for motorcycle riders. If people really cared about safety you couldn't get in your car without a helmet. It is unfair to just require motorcyclists to wear helmets.
