Atlanta Rapper, Paper Lovee, Causes High Speed Police Chase, Smashes Two Cop Cars, Finally Arrested For Shooting An Atlanta rapper was arrested on Friday in connection with a shooting in May that left one 25-year-old victim with several gunshot wounds. Paper Lovee, 25, whose real name is Ibnisa Durr, was taken into custody following a police chase on the Georgia 400 highway after he crashed his BMW into two patrol cars. Police reported that Durr was wanted for his alleged role in a shooting at a convenience store in southeast Atlanta. Authorities tracked him down to an apartment in Sandy Springs, just north of Atlanta, at around 10 a.m. on Friday, prompting him to flee. One officer involved in the final crash was taken to a nearby hospital to be evaluated for a potential head injury. A K-9 unit was present in one of the patrol cars but was not injured. The Sandy Springs Police shared a dashcam video showing the moments after the chase came to end. In the clip, Durr is seen exiting his BMW, which had butterfly doors, throwing an unknown object into the air before being tackled by police. Show more
