The first stinger used in anger was by the SAS at Argentine jets in the Falklands 82. Most battlefield tech is old as fuck and the US doesn't just give shit away for free. Every tool in the military has an expiry date including helicopters, every bullet every bomb.

Point is, every thing you think the US military lost has already been replaced with bigger and better. It's how it works. The US do it on purpose and it's political.
