Rumor has it the earthquakes in Turkey were deliberately caused by HAARP

HAARP isn’t just over the horizon radar but it probably couldn’t intentionally cause quakes. It can do a lot of other things, read Bernard Eastlund’s patent to find out - it definitely can do some interesting things and is DEFINITELY used to study more than the atmosphere (submarine comms, terrain density measurement for oil/gas exploration, etc.) but it’s definitely not a globally reaching kill machine.

The border of Turkey and Syria sits on two fault lines that cut into Turkey like a piece of pizza. Turkey’s geology is riddled with cave systems and porous features, water gets into these areas and freezes, pressing against the sides and causing seismicity, triggering larger events along faults and causing a lot of the “mystery booms” you read about.
