An old guy that I worked with when I was kid would take his knife and pop those blisters on the old nylon bias tube type tires. They'd eventually end up pinching the tube inside and cause a flat. One day he did it to a radial tire that was on a trailer and it fucking blew out and the knife closed and damned near cut his finger off lol.
