The Russians spent 10 yrs in Afghanistan and accomplished absolutely jack shit and that was with the U.S. aiding the Afghanis. U.S. and NATO spent 20 yrs there and accomplished absolutely jack shit other than tucking tale and running leaving a billions of dollars in hardware behind and abandoning friends and Americans alike. Made the Keystone Cops look competent. I have no doubt that people look at us as a joke.
