massive fail
thundermug, simple math an average weight of kids, back in the 80s and 90s, was about 95 to 175 lbs and most adult at that time weighted about 190 to 200 lbs. Unfortunately as of today,kids and adult statistically weight more. Also, the springs used for play ground equipment or made to have a moderate flex went kids play on the attached equipment.
