9yrs later , I know . There is a doctor that would pick death row inmates to behead on a guiotine. Before beheading he would tell them to stay conscious as long as possible and gave them eye blinking yes/no questions . Supposedly one man completed a few questions with eye blinks.
As soon as your head is cleanly severed all youll really feel is a cold then warm almost burn from the nerves till they touch somthing kinda like a very deep and sever cut I would assume.That will last till shock comes into play. If your not lucky like some tales from France after beheadings showed signs of life for up to one min. Though these were rear I tend to belive it is possable because the brain can last aprox. 1-2 mins. without new blood supply before brain damage sets in. There really isn't much study on this seeing it is a grim subject though.
There was worse shit than that going on at that time in nanking....there was a book written about it too...it's called the rape of nanking...some really disturbing pics were in there too look it up!!!
