I found out that beekeeping has been in my family. My great grandfather, on my father's side of my family, was a beekeeper and my father saw him work with his when my father was a young boy.... About a month ago, I was talking with my second cousin, my father cousin, about my great grandfather being beekeeper when my second cousin side that he had my great grandfather's old bee smoker. A day or two after my little brother's graduation, my second called to say that he was coming to my family's home, my second cousin live about two thousand to two thousand five hundred feet from my family's home, to drop off a graduation card and my great grandfather's old bee smoker. I have posted, above, a collage of both mine and my great grandfather's old bee smokers to compare the style differences and similarities between the built eras of two bee smokers.
