► SUPPORT CRAZYSHIT, WILL YA?

Updates were light last week because we were finishing up a new project, and blueprinting some extras for Crazyshit in the future.

I'm sure you've noticed the links to Fleshed.com that have been posted over the past few weeks. That's because FLESHED.COM is now part of the Crazyshit network - and I'm probably insane for doing it.

You've heard me bitch about how much work goes into Crazyshit updates a hundred times. Everything you see on the main page is edited, some updates can take up to 24 STRAIGHT hours to finish. But after 3 years of doing this for every single update: The amount of unique content on this site outweighs the entire GENRE of unique porn/gore/extreme. Nobody comes close, not even combined. Efukt is basically the only site that makes 'their own stuff' reguarly, but I put out more in 1 day than they do in 2 months. No disrespect, just facts. If Efukt didn't exist - neither would CS. That site is the sole reason I wanted CS to be what it is. In fact Efukt is one of the few sites left I have any respect for.

But with that overkill amount of effort and editing, it's hard to justify the hours/ad revenue ratio because advertising on porn sites isn't as lucrative as you might think it is. And when you have gore, it's basically impossible. Your normal rates get cut down as far as 75% no matter how good your traffic is because advertisers have to have their arms twisted to get them on a site like this.

(For perspective: Worldstar can EMBED a YouTube movie trailer with 17 seconds of effort, and generate more money than an entire CS update does that takes me 20 hours to put together)

I've been offered up to 4x the current revenue if I simply "remove the gore & extreme videos" because the traffic itself is such high quality. Literally one click to wipe the "Extreme Content" section and I could make a living solely on CS and not have to take other jobs.

...but I can't bring myself to do it. I can't take away one of the things the site was founded on. Yeah you can see some of these things in other places, but they just don't do the content justice. They are all copy/pasting the same bullshit all day, everyday, with no effort. No editing. No care. There's nothing special about it and their communities are pretty boring to boot. Never any real discussion, it's just "how many videos did you upload today" and they move on.

That's not what I want this site to be, and as long as I'm around it won't be that. So in my traditional "what the fuck am I doing this is a bad idea long term" fashion - I launched FLESHED.COM as strictly plain jane porn, but with an emphasis on true, real amateur content with no bullshit mixed in trying to parade itself as the real deal in an effort to catch some of the higher paying ad rates over there and keep CS as it is.

It's mostly community driven but it's still "another job" and the site needs to get established. So add it to your bookmarks and visit it every fucking day will ya? It's pretty much the only way you can support CS without actually handing money over and it would be appreciated if visited regularly.

As for CS itself: Some ground has been made for a few things:

#1. I've been working with a designer to launch some merch. It won't necessarily be "CRAZYSHIT" logos on a T-shirt. Instead, I feel like launching a completely different brand that would be a "sponsor" for CS is a better idea and marketable outside of the site. I can always have things customized for CS members like your member # or username patched onto a sleeve or something. But long term, since it's going to cost money to do this -- something more universal will be chosen. Once the logo is finalized and I can get the name copyrighted, we'll be good to go.

#2. Paid accounts for CS are going to be an option in the future. A price point hasn't been set yet but it will be cheap ($3-$5/month) The paid accounts will allow the following:

-- No ads displayed while logged in

-- Ability to post gifs/jpgs in comments

-- Access to our discord

-- Redeem user points for merch (maybe?)
