Anderson, IN June 1, 2024-Lataurus Harrison, 44, was wanted for violating his home detention and probation terms related to a conviction for strangulation, domestic battery, and sexual battery. And the home detention was actually part of a plea deal that dismissed more convictions from 2021, including multiple counts of rape, attempted rape, criminal confinement and more. As a result, Harrison was sentenced to one year of probation and 180 days of home detention. Police bodycam showed Harrison with a black handgun in several frames as he pointed it at deputies. One officer fired 10 times, hitting Harrison 7 times. Harrison died shortly after arriving at the hospital. Show more
