Zone 5 officers responded to a shooting investigation, officers learned that 4 male suspects occupying a Blue Tesla were directly involved in the shooting. A.C.E. units were granted permission by a supervisor to pursue the vehicle and attempt a traffic stop. The APD Air Unit also responded and provided the suspect vehicle’s direction of travel from the air. A.C.E. units continued to pursue the vehicle along Lee St. SW using their emergency lights and sirens while using due regard. During the pursuit, the suspect driver lost control of the vehicle and was disabled. The driver fled from the vehicle on foot while the 2 suspect passengers remained inside. Show more
