Perhaps we should make hot air balloons from material that is more flammable, not less.
If such an accident happens, everything is f'd. BUT: What about the burning bits and pieces falling on homes and bystanders? This is not okay!
The solution would be a hot air balloon that is quite stable, but IF something happenes, then the material disintegrates within 3 seconds. (like in one of the cartoons I watched too many of...) The positive effect would be, that everything that can burn is gone after 3 seconds, making it saver for the people on the gound, and also a memorable experience.
A good portion of traffic accidents is caused by staring at a mobile phone instead of on the road and traffic nowadays. More so women and definitely when it comes to women in Asia.
I guess if your hot air balloon is going to catch on fire it's best to do it within the range of 500 ft off the ground.
