The subject, identified as 62-year-old Michael Lynch, was obstructing the door to the room with two other persons therein, and was brandishing a sharp piece of a broken toilet seat. he officers subsequently deployed Taser Conducted Electrical Weapons, which were ineffective. As a result, Officer Liu discharged two additional rounds, and Officer Bradley discharged one round, from their service firearms, striking Lynch.
