Cisneros encountered NYPD Police Officer Ryan Brito and Officer Francis Gagliano, who were assigned to Transit patrol. Cisneros began to wave her arms while brandishing a knife in each hand. Officer Darcy and two other officers then deployed their Taser Conducted Energy Weapons at her. The Taser deployments were ineffective, and Cisneros began to move toward the officers with the knives pointed in their direction. Officer O'Connor then discharged one round from his service firearm, and Officer Darcy discharged two rounds from his service firearm, striking Cisneros. Cisneros was taken into custody and transported via ambulance to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where she was pronounced deceased. Show more
