CPD officers filed for a warrant and were attempting to locate the male wanted for the assault as there was believed to be a public safety risk. 60-year-old Hugh Davis, Jr. came out of the apartment and attempted to stab officers multiple times with a large knife. One of the officers fired his pistol three times at Davis, at nearly point-blank range. Davis was later declared dead at the scene. Show more
